The purchase of services from Enjoy Bike Sorrento entails the acceptance of the following terms and conditions:
Booking
The booking is considered completed only when the customer receives confirmation of acceptance from Enjoy Bike Sorrento. This confirmation will be sent automatically right after the booking process on the website will be completed.
In case of bookings made by e-mail, Enjoy Bike Sorrento will proceed to confirm the booking by an e-mail message.
Should the customer does not receive a confirmation of acceptance of the service purchased, it is his/her responsibility to contact Enjoy Bike Sorrento that will subsequently send again the necessary information.
Failure to communicate to Enjoy Bike Sorrento the non-receipt of the confirmation message can result in the customer losing the opportunity to make use of the service. Enjoy Bike Sorrento bears no responsibility should this case happen and will not grant any refund.
Enjoy Bike Sorrento takes utmost care in guaranteeing the completeness and accuracy of the information provided, however it is the customer responsibility to carefully read and verify the information indicated in the confirmation mail.
Failure to communicate with adequate notice to Enjoy Bike Sorrento the need of a correction or re-sending of confirmation mail can result for the customer in the loss of opportunity to make use of the service. Enjoy Bike Sorrento bears no responsibility should this case happen and will not grant any refund.
The price of the tour is the one indicated on Enjoy Bike Sorrento website.
Risks and Responsibilities
The services offered by Enjoy Bike Sorrento are in no way comparable to a touristic package.
The customer is required to show a valid identity document at the departure. Failure in presenting the requested document will result in a cancellation of the tour.
It is strictly forbidden for someone other than the customer to ride the vehicle unless Enjoy Bike Sorrento does not authorize the designated person and the customer does not bear complete responsibility for him/her.
The vehicle, the optionals and the equipment are given to the customer in perfect technical condition and must be returned to Enjoy Bike Sorrento in the same perfect conditions.
Adults only can use the bicycle. Minors can use the bicycle only if an adult who will take full responsibility for any damage caused to third parties by the minors or suffered by the minor accompanies them.
Wearing the helmet is mandatory during the tour. It is strictly forbidden to ride the vehicle out of the designated route.
Our tours have different levels of difficulty, from low to high, all of them presenting the risks related to the practice of cycling activity. Every participant to the tour will bear full-responsibility for the risks related to the activity attesting to be able to ride a bicycle and to be in good health.
Every participant to the tour must ride with caution, respect the rules of the road and follow the advice of the tour guides.
Neither Enjoy Bike Sorrento nor the tour guides can be liable in case of injury accident, damage of property, delay and any other kind of irregularity due to incorrect and/or negligent use of the equipment or to any act of omission and/or arbitrary act from the customer during the activities part of the service offered.
In case of damage of the equipment provided by Enjoy Bike Sorrento, the participants will have to reimburse Enjoy Bike Sorrento. The reimbursement will be done in loco by cash or credit card payment.
The customer him/herself must pay any administrative sanction resulting from a violation of rules of the road by the customer.
Theft
In case of theft of the bicycle and/or the optionals and/or the equipment, the customer must show to Enjoy Bike Sorrento a copy of the complaint to the competent bodies. Within three days from the date of the theft, the customer must pay a deposit equal to the list price of the bicycle and of the other items stolen. The amount of the deposit due will be calculated also taking into account the level of wear of the bicycle and the other items when they have been delivered to the customer.
Should the bicycle and other items be found and given back to Enjoy Bike Sorrento, the company will give the deposit back to the customer; otherwise, Enjoy Bike Sorrento will keep the sum as a compensation for the damage.
Delay e No-show
Participants must be at the agreed meeting point 15 minutes before departure. Should they not be there at the time agreed or in the following 10 minutes, the case will be considered a “No-show” and no other alternative day or time will be offered to the customers who will have di book the service again at full price.
Cancellation Policy
Bike Tours Cancellation Policy:
a. 100% refund for cancellations made within 24 hours prior to the date and time of the tour
b. Cancellations made less then 24 hours prior to the date and time of the tour and no shows: no refund granted
It must be made clear that any insurance taken by the lessee included in the tariff will cease to be effective at the point of time the contract expires, except in the case of an alteration of the contract (extension of the rental period) which must be by mutual agreement.
Bike Rental Cancellation Policy:
Premature cancellation or extension of this contract must be solicited by the lessee with at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to comply with this clause will entitle the lessor to charge the complete contract amount in case of cancellation; it will also be entitled to reject the request of extending the rental period if submitted late; any delay will be charged with an increased hiring rate of 50 %. Regarding the previous paragraph, it must be made clear that any insurance taken by the lessee included in the tariff will cease to be effective at the point of time the contract expires, except in the case of an alteration of the contract (extension of the rental period) which must be by mutual agreement.
Force Majeure
Enjoy Bike Sorrento will retain the right to cancel the tour for reasons of adverse meteorological conditions and/or for reasons of force majeure that could jeopardize the safety of the participants. If this case occurs customers will be able to reschedule depending on their availability and Enjoy Bike Sorrento availability; if rescheduling will be not possible Enjoy Bike Sorrento will retain the right (with no guarantees) to offer substitute services that, at our incontestable discretion, will be considered of equivalent value with respect to the service originally booked. Should no substitute service be available or accepted by the customer, Enjoy Bike Sorrento will issue a full refund.
A full refund will be issued in case the service should not be provided due to major events such non-predictable meteorological and/or natural disasters, decisions by public authorities, acts of war and/or terrorism, disorders, protests, strikes, disasters, accidents, theft, health emergencies and similar events.
Interruption
Should one of the participant interrupt the tour, Enjoy Bike Sorrento will not issue a refund.
